still here

I'm still around. It has been so busy with the first year of teaching and all. I'm trying to keep some time to myself, but between running a library and teaching six classes a day, I'm usually exhausted. I'm still knitting and I've been doing some sewing as well. I'll get around do posting my projects, probably in the summer.
Last night my grandfather passed away. He would have been 81 later this month. It's a trip back to Kentucky for us. It's so sad, but at the same time I believe it was a release for him. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease some years ago and after my grandmother passed in May, he has been going downhill. I can't imagine how my mom is feeling right now and I wish I could be there with her right now.
