The queen is coming...hide!

Queen Elizabeth stopped here today on her way to the Kentucky Derby. Oh, well, it is Jamestown's 400th Anniversary. She was just down the road from my library this afternoon. She caused all sorts of havoc. Loads of people everywhere, roads blocked off. I couldn't travel home on my normal route. This may not sound like a big deal, but I'm like a homing pigeon. I have to go the same way or I get a little panicked. But it was alright in the end. I bad mouthed my steering wheel, the police officer directing traffic gave me a "what can ya do" shrug and off I went in the opposite direction and ended up at Target to buy some snacks for an upcoming trip. Alls well that ends well.
