As we were driving to work last Monday the dj on the radio was talking about school teachers. He said his aunt, a former teacher, always viewed summer vacation as one long weekend. June was Friday, July was Saturday and August, of course, was Sunday. That's pretty much how it feels to me. I'm looking forward to my loooonnnggg weekend. I have so many plans. I know I won't be able to squeeze it all in.
1. Sleep till 9 am (with the exception that I will have to get up at 5 am to feed the cats. They have no concept of weekend)
2. Sew
3. Take a nap
4. Weed the garden
5. Water the garden
6. Have long lunches with friends
7. Pee whenever I want to.
8. Visit my mom and dad
9. Go to knitting group
10. Organize my closet
11. Take more naps
12. Drink caffeinated coffee after 5pm
That's just a few things. No big deal. For now I'm going to enjoy the first day of my long weekend.

Awww...I can try and help, but if you look really close at my sewing, it's a bit funky too. The trick is to hide it.
